当时很多人都认为唐斯遭遇了跟腱撕裂，不过后续检查确诊唐斯遭遇了右小腿三级拉伤。而据唐斯本人透露，三级拉伤就是肌肉撕裂。唐斯最终缺席51场比赛（4个月）后复出。
